Mrs. Yahaira Pena

My beloved sister was born on January 19, 1979 in the Dominican Republic. As a child she was a feisty
little girl, she wouldn’t stay still but lit up a room as soon as she would walk in it. She grew to become a
beautiful woman with a great sense of humor, kind, loving, ambitious, caring and loved life. Everyone
she crossed paths with loved her as she loved them in return. Her biggest wish was to become a mother and have children of her own but although that didn’t happen she was blessed with the opportunity to be a mother to her nieces and nephew, Kiara, Eddy Anthony, Dyreen and Amalia. But most of all she was a loving stepmom to Mariant and treated her as if she were her own. Yahaira aka yayi was family oriented and enjoyed spending quality time with all her sisters, brother, aunts, uncles and cousins. She was the life of the party everywhere she went. She loved to travel, gardening, macrame and shopping. Unfortunately, her life was cut short as she battled with cancer. Yahaira leaves behind her
parents, siblings, nieces, nephews and her husband, Onasi.
