Mr. Wade L Tomblin

February 9, 1950 — July 25, 2022

Wade Lee Tomblin, son of the late Sylvester Tomblin, Sr. and Maybell Glass Tomblin, was born February 9, 1950 in Hastings, FL. He was the youngest of Maybell's thirteen children. He attended public school in St. Johns County, FL and was a graduate of Walter E. Harris High School, class of 1967.

After graduating high school, he moved to New Brunswick, New Jersey. He spent a brief time working for the United States Postal Service, and afterwards began a long career at Bristol-Myers. The company later merged with Squibb, and Wade remained employed as a Lab Technician at Bristol-Myers Squibb for over 40 years.

He was preceded in eternal rest by his: Father, Sylvester Tomblin, Sr.; Mother, Maybell Glass Tomblin; Wife, Jacqueline Tomblin; Son, Joshua Tomblin; Daughter, Keysha R. Harris; Brother, Benjamin Lewis; Brother, Joe Lewis; Sister, Cora L. Tomblin; Brother, David Sellers; Brother, Henry Green; Brother, Johnnie Tomblin; Brother, Willie J. Merkerson; Sister, Lessie Tomblin Amos; Brother, Andrew Merkerson; Brother, Elder Jimmie L. Lewis; Brother, George Lewis.
