Victor Rosa Pena

On November 12th, Victor Rosa Pena of North Brunswick, age 61, passed away. Victor was born and raised in Santiago Rodriguez, Dominican Republic. He came to the United States and worked as a taxi driver to support his family, but Santiago Rodriguez forever stayed in his heart. He was a loving and devoted husband of Andrea del Carmen Espinal de Rosa and loving father of Victor "Jonas" Cusato-Rosa, (Bridgit, his wife) and Lissett Rosa Espinal, (Jordany, her boyfriend). His greatest role was as a caring and playful grandfather to Jonell (6), Justin (3), Joshua (2), Lisbeth, (6 months) and Jonathan (2 months), all who loved their "Papa".
Victor was a baseball aficionado and knew baseball facts better than most ESPN reporters, especially about his favorite team, the New York Yankees. He was also dominoes savvy and enjoyed bragging about his champion-like skills, especially when playing against his son Jonas. Nothing brought him more joy than spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He will always be remembered for his warm and loving heart, his generous soul and a spirit that filled a room with joy.
Visitation will take place at the Crabiel Parkwest Funeral Chapel, 239 Livingston Avenue, New Brunswick, NJ on Friday, Nov. 18th from 6-8 pm. Prayer service will start at 8 pm. Interment at St. Peter's Cemetery, Somerset Street, (Route 27 ), New Brunswick, NJ at 10 am on Saturday, Nov. 19th.
