Thomas Patrick Tierney, 83, passed away on Thursday, April 16, 2020 at the Parker at Somerset Nursing Center. He was born and raised in Ashland, PA, lived in Carteret, NJ for many years before making his residence at the Parker Home in Somerset, NJ.
Thomas served in the US Army during the Korean War in the late 1950's. Upon his return, he worked for Ball Glass Company in Carteret, NJ for many years until retiring.
Predeceased by his parents, his sisters, his daughter Tracy and his beloved wife Joyce in 2018 and is survived by hisloving children Matthew, Brian and Sean Tierney, Thomas Raia, Jr., his cherished grandchildren Michael, Desiree, Kierstin, Crystal Tierney and Casandra and Craig Raia .
Private visitation will be held for the family on Tuesday, April 28, 2020 from 11 am - 1 pm.
Interment will take place at a later date at Brig. General William C. Doyle Veterans Administration Cemetery, Wrightstown, NJ.
