Mrs. Sallie B. Morgan

January 2, 1934 - May 21, 2022

Sallie (Brooks) Morgan, 88, passed away on Saturday, May 21, 2022 at the Roosevelt care Center in Edison, NJ. She was born and raised in Virginia, lived in Brooklyn, NY, coming to New Jersey in the early 1960's. Upon coming to New Jersey, the family moved to Linden, Sallie resided until moving to the Senior Citizen Apartments on Grand Avenue in Rahway. The last few years, as her health diminished, Sallie was a placed in the Roosevelt Care Center, until her passing. Sallie was employed as an assembly line worker with Frigidaire Company in Edison, the manufacturers of air conditioners, for many years retiring in 1998. Earlier in her career, she had worked for Boyle Midway, a manufacturing companying which made cleaning supplies and insecticides, in Cranford, NJ, Magnus Organ Company and Colgate-Palmolive Company in Newark, NJ. When Sallie was not busy with working or raising her children, sewing, making Jewish holiday desserts and cooking for everyone to come over and eat were her past time hobbies. Predeceased by her parents Lay and Annie (Boyd) Brooks and her thirteen siblings, Sallie is survived by her loving children, Patricia Morgan-Moreno, William Brown, Daniel Morgan, Jr., and Ro-Jean Morgan and her cherished nine grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Visitation will take place at the Crabiel Parkwest Funeral Chapel, 239 Livingston Avenue, New Brunswick on Friday, June3, 2022 from 6 - 8 pm and Saturday, June 4, 2022 from 9:30 - 10:15 am. Funeral will follow at the funeral home on Saturday, June 4, 2022 at 10:15 am. Intermernt at the Elmwood Cemetery, New Brunswick, NJ.
