Mrs. Ramona Then De Mercedes

Mrs. Ramona Then De Mercedes was born on February 12, 1923, in the Dominican Republic. She was married to the love of her life, Damaso Mercedes del Orbe, for 67 years until his passing on September 7, 2008.

Mrs. Ramona lived with her daughter, Carmen Mercedes and son-in-law Bernardo Mercedes in the state of New Jersey. She loved spending time with her grandchildren, Aurealicia, Davidson, Farydin, and great-grandchildren Aurelius and Jay'Laine.

During the wintertime, Mrs. Ramona loved traveling back to the Dominican Republic to visit her son, Genaro Mercedes and daughter-in-law, Matilde Mercedes. She enjoyed seeing her grandchildren Genaro Mercedes Lizardo, Franklin Anibal Mercedes Lizardo, and Enmanuel Mercedes Lizardo.

Mrs. Ramona always lit up the room with her presence. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, dancing and drinking her famous sangria. At her 99 years of age, she always positively looked at life.

Mrs. Ramona Then De Mercedes' services will be held at Crabiel Parkwest Funeral Chapel, and her final resting place will be in the Dominican Republic with her husband, Damaso.
