Mr. Paul Fortenberry, 39, passed away suddenly on Monday, November 13, 2017 at his residence. He was born and raised in New Brunswick and just recently moved to Phillipsburg.
Paul during his working career, was employed by many places. He was working as a self employed roofer for the past year.
He was and avid fisherman and crabber. Paul enjoyed watching TV, especially shows that involved cops and cooking shows. Loved to be in the kitchen cooking with his mom trying new recipes. Most especially he loved when his mom made the authentic Hungarian meals.
Paul was always there to lend a hand, whether it be to fix something, do a simple favor or lend an ear.
Paul was a good natured soul, loving son, father and brother and will be missed dearly by his family. He was predeceased by his father, Alan Fortenberry and his sister Tennille Fortenberry, and is survived by his daughter Dominique Fortenberry, his mother Veronica Fortenberry, his stepfather Bruce Yuhas, his brother Nicholas Fortenberry, his paternal grandmother Jean Purdue, his uncle, John Klacik, III, his aunts Donna Resta and Joan Sudano.
Visitation will take place on Thursday, November 16th from 7 - 9 pm at the Gowen Funeral Home, 239 Livingston Avenue, New Brunswick, NJ. Funeral Service on Friday, November 17th at 11 am. Cremation at Franklin Memorial Park, North Brunswick, NJ will be private.
