Onye Chanel Atkison-Frasier, 16, of Ewing, NJ, returned to heaven on Tuesday, December 4, 2012. Onye spent most of her life in Somerset and her most joyous in Baton Rouge, LA and Fayetteville, GA. Her sweet spirit and purity touched all who knew her in a very special way.
Onye is survived by her mother Carla Atkinson, her father Tyrone Frasier, her sisters and brothers Octavia, Marquise, Nalijah, Tiarra, Alexandra, Tyyon, Ezekiel and Nasser as well as her nephew Jamari and cousin Jelani, uncle Robert Frasier, aunt Jenea Stradford, godmothers Dawn Wright and Tasha Tolbert, grandparents James and Bernadette Frasier, Carl and Asela Atkinson and Nelrene Atkinson. A host of loving extended family and friends. Predeceased by her uncle Wayne Thompson.
Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate with a memorial for Onye Wednesday, December 12th, 1 to 3 and repast 3 to 5:30pm at New Destiny Family Worship Center, 1330 Livingston Avenue-Suite 5, North Brunswick, NJ 08902. In lieu of flowers, contributions are suggested to the family to provide financial assistance for the services, which may be made in memory of Onye via PayPal: catkinson72@hotmail.com . Franklin Memorial Park, 1800 State Route 27, North Brunswick is entrusted to the cremation arrangements.
