Millicent C. (Silverman) Brodman, 90, passed away peacefully at her home on Tuesday morning, May 19, 2015. She was born and lived in Elizabeth, NJ in her same house until moving to Concordia in Monroe, NJ in 1985.
She enjoyed playing card games, in particular canasta, pam and marjon.
Millicent was dedicated to her husband, Seymour, for 67 years, and to her family. Predeceased by her parents Sam and Sarah (Schneider) Silverman and is survived by her husband Seymour, her daughters Andrea and her husband Fred Horowitz and Ellen and her husband Barry Moskowitz, her grandchildren Scott & Michele Horowitz, Jodi and Adam Vickers, Robyn and Adam Schiff, Rachel and Michael Biefeld and Dana and Josh Goldfarb, and her great grandchildren Daniel, Spencer, Jordan, Ava, Tyler, Mia and Lilly.
Funeral Service will take place at the Anshe Emeth Memorial Temple, 222 Livingston Avenue, New Brunswick, NJ on Thursday, May 21, 2015 at 12 pm. Interment in Beth Israel Cemetery, Woodbridge, NJ.
Memorial Contributions may be made in memory of Millicent to the VNA-Hospice or the American Cancer Society.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Crabiel Parkwest Funeral Chapel, 239 Livingston Avenue, New Brunswick, NJ.
