Maryann Lapworth, 65, passed away on Thursday, July 29, 2017 with her family by her side at her home. Lifelong resident of New Brunswick, NJ, she recently moved to Monroe, NJ.
Maryann was employed for many years as an executive secretary with Briskin Company in New Brunswick and Edison, NJ, retiring in 2011.
She enjoyed being with her niece and nephew and their children, attending their school, extra curricular activities and family events. Maryann would do anything for anyone.
Predeceased by her parents, Archie and Elizabeth (Valla) Lapworth and her brother Archie Lapworth, Jr., she is survived by her niece Amy Lapworth and her husband Arthur Palmer and her nephew, Archie Lapworth, III, her step nieces and nephews Michael, Fred and Billy Dufifie, Sally Dismia, Mary Zadlock and Traci Hamlin and many great nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 5, 2017 from 4-8 pm at the Gowen Funeral Home, 239 Livingston Avenue, New Brunswick, NJ. Funeral service will follow on Thursday, July 6, 2017 at 10 am at the funeral home. Interment at St. Peter's Cemetery, New Brunswick, NJ.
