Joseph L. Michel, 69, passed away at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick, NJ on Friday, August 10, 2018. Born and raised in Saint Marc, Haiti, he came to the United States 37 years ago. Joseph has been living in Orange, NJ for many years.
Joseph had worked as an operator for Reboth Steel, (aka Allied Steel) in Newark, NJ for many years. After retiring, he worked part time as a Security Guard in Metuchen, NJ.
Joseph was a quiet man enjoyed watching TV and having his family around.
Predeceased by his parents, he is survived by his wife Marie Angele (Buris) Michel, his sons Maxime Michel, Mike Michel, Jr. and his daughter Nadeige Cherubin and his five grandchildren.
Visiting will take place at the Crabiel Parkwest Funeral Chapel, 239 Livingston Avenue, New Brunswick on Saturday, August 18, 2018 from 10 - 11:30 am with a service at 11 am. Cremation will be private at Franklin Memorial Park, North Brunswick, NJ..
