Joan Marie (Fox) Guglielmo, 85, passed away on Sunday, December 2, 2018 at the Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick, NJ. She was born and raised in New York. Joan lived and raised her family in Livingston, NJ before moving to Somerset thirteen years ago.
Joan was the quintessential "NY character". She loved to put her boys in the car and go "gallivanting". Whatever the mood struck on any given day, maybe a ride to the shore for a fish lunch or to go looking around that was Joan's life. Joan was an avid BINGO player who would drive hours to get to a game.
Joan enjoyed being a snowbird with her husband Larry. They would go to their home in Sunrise Ft. Lauderdale, Florida for the winter and return in the spring.
Predeceased by her parents Frank and Ann (Sullivan) Fox, she is survived by her beloved husband of 63 years, Lorenzo (Larry) Guglielmo, her loving sons Frank and his partner Joe and Ron and many nieces and nephews.
Private cremation will be held on Wednesday, December 5, 2018. A Memorial Gathering will be held at the Guglielmo Residence in Somerset on Saturday, December 8, 2018 from 12:00 - 4:00pm.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the St. Jude's Foundation in memory of Joan.
