Hilario Cutberto Quintero Romero, 75, passed away on Wednesday, August 7, 2019 at Community Medical Center, Toms River, NJ after a brief illness. Lifelong resident of San Felipe Atlixco Pueblo, Mexico, he came to visit his family in Edison and New Brunswick just recently.
For many years, Hilario was a self employed farmer in Mexico. He enjoyed baking and spending time with his family. Hilario was a very energetic and talkative person, even after retiring, he opened and ran a small grocery store in Mexico.
He was predeceased by his mother Felicitas Romero, and is survived by his beloved wife of 50 years Maria Martina Perez Cortez, his loving children Matilde Quintero, Jose Guadalupe Quintero Perez, Catalina Quintero Perez, Casimiro Quintero Perez. Carmen Quintero Perez and Armando Quintero Perez, his cherished twenty one grandchildren and two great grandchildren, and his dear brothers and sisters in Mexico.
Visitation will be held at the Crabiel Parkwest Funeral Chapel, 239 Livingston Avenue, New Brunswick, NJ on Tuesday, August 13th from 6-8 pm. Funeral mass and interment will take place in Mexico later in the week.
