Mr. Flor Torres, 65, of Manville, NJ formerly of the New Brunswick, NJ area, passed away on Sunday, December 26, 2021 at his home with his family by his side. Born and raised in Cayey, Puerto Rico, Flor came to the United States at the age of 17, settling in Albany, NY. He has lived in Princeton, New Brunswick and North Brunswick before moving a little over a year ago to Manville. He was employed as a machinist with Orion Precision Industries, Inc., Somerset, NJ for many years. Flor's enjoyment in life was fishing, both deep sea and especially fresh water, as well as being a family man and a great provider. Predeceased by his father, Salvador Torres, Flor will be sadly missed by his beloved mother, Paula Collazo, his loving wife Lourdes (Lopez) Torres, his cherished daughters, Lourdes, Damaris and Cecilia, his grandchildren, Tymir Dukes, Elijah Brown and Amari Halyer, his dear brothers and sisters, Antonio, Oscar, Gerardo, Miguel, Angel, Jose, Primitiva, Paulina, Nereida, Soriada, Maria Dolores and Carmen, his brother-in-law Luis Lopez, his sister-in-law Milagros Lopez and his many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Visitation will take place at the Crabiel Parkwest Funeral Chapel, 239 Livingston Avenue, New Brunswick on Monday evening, January 3, 2022 from 4 - 8 pm. Funeral Service will be held at the funeral home at 7 pm. Cremation is private.
