Darron was born and raised in New Brunswick, New Jersey, with a brief time in Bryan/College Station, Texas. Darron transitioned from this life to eternal peace on June 01, 2021 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick, New Jersey.
From the time he stated walking, Darron “marched to the beat of his own drum” . He adopted the name “Aciec Aliym” many years ago and was known to many by this name. Darron had an outgoing personality and was known as a friendly and very likeable person with a great sense of humor. Darron never met a stranger. Throughout his lifetime, his entrepreneurial spirit led him to be his own boss in various business ventures.
The crowning moment in his life was when he and Stephanie Boyd became parents of their son, Shyyan, whom he affectionately called, “BoyBoy”.
Darron was preceeded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents, and his beloved sister, Marcitta Laws.
Darron is survived by his parents Thomas Shivers Jr. of New Brunswick, NJ, Clarisse Tate (James), Hearne, Texas, and John Brown Jr (Donna), New Brunswick, NJ, loving son, Shyyan Aliym (Talia) of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and a “daughter of the heart” Ta’Najah Boyd of Pennsylvania. Six brothers and seven sisters, Thomas Van Shivers III (Ramona), Monique Gray, Dominique Brown Agosto (Arvid Jr) all of New Jersey, Tina Brown and Johnnie Brown III of North Carolina, Howard Davenport Jr, Tanya Ayers (John), Michelle Thomas (Dunta), Randall Williams (Lisa), Angie Wells (Donald), James Tate Jr (Terri), John Tates, and Cynthia Green all of Texas. Also left to cherish his memory as a host of nieces, nephews, other family members, and friends.
