Carmen Rosa Estevez, 78, passed away peacefully at her home on Sunday, September 9, 2018. Born in Manaca, San Jose, Dominican Republic, she came to the United States in 1973.
Carmen was a business owner in New Brunswick. She owned and operated the Fashion Clothing Boutique on Remsen Avenue for many years.
She loved to sew, knit and was a very crafty person.
Predeceased by her parents Joaquin Torres and Ydalia Estevez, several of her brothers and sisters she is survived by he loving children Victor, Freddy, Ana and Guillermo Almanzar, he cherished grandchildren Ricky, Kathy,Joana, Victor,Jr., Audriana,Freddy, Jr., Rosadalia, Karly. Carmenlina, Kristina, Alyana and Jonathan,her six great grandchildren and her dear brothers and sisters, Clara and Yoni Estevez, Meleda Torres, Alberto, Genaro, and Hector.
Private Family viewing prior to Funeral Mass at St. Mary Of Mount Virgin RC Church, ( Parish of the Visitation), the corner of Remsen Avenue and Sandford Street, New Brunswick at 11:00 am. Interment to follow at Holy Redeemer Ceme3tery, South Plainfield, NJ.
