Mrs. Bertha (Braha) Goldsmith, 87, passed away peacefully at her home on the morning of Wednesday, March 3, 2021 with her family by her side. She was born in Brooklyn, NY and was raised in Atlantic City, NY. Bertha was a graduate of Atlantic City High School.
Upon meeting and marrying her husband, Jerry in 1966, she then moved to Perth Amboy, NJ before making the move to Kendall Park, (South Brunswick Twp.).
Bertha worked as a Legal Secretary for over 50 years. She spent the last 25 years with Drinker, Biddle and Reath in Princeton, NJ.
Traveling with her sister, Yvonne Kamen, was one of Bertha's fondest times. They saw the world. Bertha truly loved being with her family as well.
Predeceased by her parents Isaac and Rachel (Cohen) Braha and her beloved husband of 38 years, Jerry in 2004, she leaves behind to carry on her legacy her loving sons and daughters-in- law, Fred, Ira and his wife Roz and Andrew and his wife Maryalice, her cherished grandsons, Sam, Gabe, Jack, Patrick, Brendan and Sean, her dear sisters, Yvonne Kamen and Rose Selfstein.
Graveside Service will be held on Sunday, March 7, 2021 at 12 pm at the Washington Cemetery, Deans Rhode Hall Road, Deans, (South Brunswick Twp.).
Shiva will be sat on Sunday, Monday & Tuesday, March 7th, 8th & 9th at 106 Henderson Road, Kendall Park, NJ fro 10 am to 9 pm.
Shiva will be sat on Wednesday, March 10, 2021 from 6 -9:30 pm, 640 Blueberry Hill, Freehold, NJ 07728.
Arrangements are under the care of the Crabiel Parkwest Funeral Chapel, New Brunswick, NJ.
