Mr. Andrew James Krajczar

January 16, 1955 — December 21, 2021

Andrew James Krajczar (Andy), 66, beloved brother, uncle, cousin and friend, passed away unexpectedly at his home in North Brunswick on December 21, 2021. Born on January 16, 1955 in Szentgotthard, Hungary, Andy was 18 months old when he left Hungary with his parents, Imre and Anna Krajczar, along with his infant sister Pearl, for the United States. Andy resided in New Brunswick for about 12 years before moving to his current North Brunswick home.

Andy graduated from Kean University in 1977 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing. Upon graduating, he worked for Revlon Corporation in Edison becoming a Supervisor of Product Line Manufacturing, after which he was employed by Merck Inc. as a Manufacturing Line Leader in their commercial manufacturing division in Kenilworth. He later moved on to a position with Integra Life Sciences in Plainsboro.

Andy was an avid collector of vintage film memorabilia and was valued by his family as their movie historian. He also enjoyed acquiring a variety of wines for the purpose of sharing and gifting with friends and family. He loved football and played on his High School football team, becoming a lifelong follower and fan of the Dallas Cowboys and in recent years Penn State and Notre Dame college football. He most enjoyed spending time with his family on holidays and special occasions.

In addition to his sister Pearl Traub, Andy is survived by his brother-in-law John Joseph Traub, niece Jennifer Ann Traub and her fiancé Goran Mitrevski, nephew John James Traub and his wife Kelly Traub, grand- nephew Walter John, and Aunt Marika and cousins Maggie, Julie, Anna and Laci of Arizona and Klara of Orgeon. Andy is also survived by several loving family members in Hungary.

Visitation will be at Gowan Funeral Home, 239 Livingston Ave., New Brunswick between the hours of 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM on December 30. Following visitation, a funeral mass celebrating the life of Andy will be held at St. Ladislaus Church on Somerset Street in New Brunswick. Interment will follow at Van Liew Cemetery on Georges Road in North Brunswick. May God grant Andy peaceful and eternal rest.
