Abel E. Alvarado, 63, passed away on Sunday, November 24, 2019 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick. He was born and raised in Peru coming to live in New Brunswick 41 years ago.
Abel worked many different jobs, his las being a warehouseman.
He enjoyed soccer and eating. Abel liked the "Star war" movies and the music of Journey, Meatloaf and Chicago. He loved to cook, especially spicy sausage dishes.
Abel was predeceased by his father, Abel J. Alvarado and is survived by his mother, Esther E. Pena Bocanegre and his wife Elizabeth Mendez Alvarado. He was a wonderful father to Francesca Guiterrez, Abel, Gabriel, Miguel and Alexandra Alvarado. Abel will be missed by his sister Esther and brothers Jack, and Carlos Alvarado and Juan Bocanegre..
Visitation is taking place at the Crabiel Parkwest Funeral Chapel, 239 Livingston Avenue, New Brunswick, NJ on Monday, November 25th from 5-9 pm. Funeral Mass will take place omn Tuesday, November 26th at 10 am at Our Lady of Mount Carmel RC Church, 75 Morris Street, New Brunswick, NJ. Cremation to follow with placement into his niche at Franklin Memorial Park on Wednesday, November 27th at 12 pm.
