Mrs. Vita Signore, 71, passed away suddenly after a brief illness at the Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick, NJ. She was born and raised in New Brunswick and has been living in Somerset for several years.
Vita worked as an Oral Surgery Assistant for the Oral Surgery Group of New Brunswick for many years. She was also employed by Lazor Diode in New Brunswick as an Assembler before her retirement.
Vita was a longtime congregant of St. Mary's of Mount Virgin RC Church, (Parish of the Visitation), New Brunswick.
She loved animals, especially cats and dogs. Vita, an eclectic collector and jewelry lover, was always fashionable with the times.
Predeceased by her parents Vito and Sarah (Mazza) and her brother Joseph, she is survived by her loving husband Peter Schiemann and his family.
Visitation will be held at the Gowen Funeral Home, 239 Livingston Avenue, New Brunswick, NJ on Sunday, November 19, 2017 from 3 - 6 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, November 20, 2017 at 10 am at St, Mary of Mount Virgin RC Church, Remsen Avenue and Sandford Street, New Brunswick. Interment at St. Peter's Cemetery, New Brunswick, NJ.
