Rosalind (Braverman) Jacobs, 86, passed away at her home on Thursday, December 20, 2012. She was born in Brooklyn, New York, Rosalind Braverman, and was married to the late Paul Jacobs. She lived in Miami Beach Florida and Edison and Monmouth Junction, New Jersey.

She was a congregant of the Anshe Emeth Temple in New Brunswick, as well as an active and generous volunteer, having served as president of the Tri-County Chapter of the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation International and as well as president of the Mid-Jersey Chapter of the American Cancer Society.

She also devoted her time to the Princeton Opera Company, the Friends of the Zimmerlee Art Museum and the Princeton Senior Center.

She also was a talented ballroom dancer and won numerous dance competition awards.

Surviving are her sister, Natalie Braverman, of Pittsfield, Massachusetts and three children, Joseph, of Titusville, New Jersey, Robin, of Randolph, New Jersey and Mindi, of Pine Brook, New Jersey.

Graveside services will be held on Sunday, December 23, 2012 at 12:30pm at the Beth Israel Cemetery, Woodbridge, New Jersey.

Donations in her memory may be made to the American Cancer Society or the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
