Edra Gretchen Maison, 81, passed away on Wednesday July 24, 2013 at Shands-Univeristy of Florida Hospital in Gainesville, Florida.
Edra was born in Linden, NJ and lived in Milford, NJ before moving to Bronson, FL, in 1999 to help raise her new grandson Benjamin. She was a lifetime woman of the moose member and liked to go to Atlantic City with her family.
Edra was predeceased by beloved husband Benjamin Maison, Walter Lars Maison and her parents Lars and Thelma (Gabrielson) Sorensen. She is survived by her loving daughter Edra “Cookie” Maison Ijames, her cherished grandchildren Gregory Zhelesnik, of Scottsdale, AZ, Benjamin J. Ijames of Gainesville, FL, Stephanie Sluck of Dover, PA, Kimberly Maison of Honolulu, HI, her two great grandchildren, her dear brother Lars Sorensen of Toms River, NJ, and sister Violet Moskow of Iselin, NJ, and many nieces and nephews.
Family and friends may visit at the Gowen Funeral Home 239Livingston Avenue, New Brunswick, NJ on Wednesday July 31,2013 from 7-9 pm. Funeral Services will be held at the funeral home on Thursday August 1st at 10 am. Interment to follow at Franklin Memorial Park, North Brunswick, NJ.
