Mrs. Carmen S. (Velez) Negron, 86, passed away on Friday, July 13, 2018 at the Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick. Born in Puerto Rico, she lived in Queens and Brooklyn, NY before moving to North Brunswick for the past 21 years.
She was a congregant of St. Mary of Mount Virgin RC Church, New Brunswick, now known as Parish of the Visitation.
Carmen enjoyed cooking and loved to walk to the stores everyday. She was a jolly woman and a caring mother.
Predeceased by her parents, her husband Juan, a brother and two sisters, Carmen is survived by her loving children, John Negron, Robert Negron and his wife Fran, Lucy Negron and her husband Anthony, Ana Negron and her husband Rafael (Ralph) Lopez, Carmen I. Negron, Lydia Negron and Miguel Negron and his wife JoAnna, her cherished fourteen grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren.
Visiting will be held on Sunday, July 15, 2018 from 2-4 pm at the Crabiel Parkwest Funeral Chapel, 239 Livingston Avenue, New Brunswick, NJ. Funeral Mass will be on Monday, July 16, 2018 at 10 am at Sacred Heart of Jesus RC Church, (Holy Family Parish), 56 Throop Avenue, New Brunswick. Interment to follow in Elmwood Cemetery, New Brunswick, NJ.
