Frank S. Facchini

Frank has been involved with Crabiel Inc., the Milltown based family of Funeral Homes for the past 50 years. Well known to all the communities in New Brunswick for his dedication to their cultures, religions and customs as well as his love for people in general; especially the children. He believes that funeral service is comprised of three facets – personalization, Dignity and Affordability.


Mr. Facchini is a long time member of Crabiel Inc. Board of Directors, having served as the company’s C.E.O. and President of several divisions. He received his college degrees (Bachelors and Masters) locally and graduated from American Academy McAllister Institute of Funeral Service NY, NY. He was a member of the school Mu Sigma Alpha Society. Frank received his honorary Doctorate of Funeral Service from the National Academy of Mortuary Science in 2006. He has been recognized by the government of Italy, Hungary, the State of Israel, Mexico, and Nigeria for his humanitarian endeavors. He has also been recognized by local and national organizations for his educational lessons and programs for the people on a local level. Frank is particularly proud of receiving the “Tree of Life” award from B’Nai B’rith, “The Commendatioria D’Italia” plaque for his fund raising efforts for Italian earthquake victims, the Israel Peace Medal from the state of Israel Bond Drive, the National conference of Christian and Jewish Brotherhood and the American Hungarian Foundations Humanitarian Award. 


Since the start of his career Frank has been active in community projects. He was the co-chairman of New Brunswick Tercentennial Committee, a member of Metuchen Catholic Diocese Curriculum Committee, New Brunswick Tomorrow’s Education Task force and a member of the Jewish Family Service Board of Directors, as well as many other local organization boards and memberships.


If asked, when he will retire, he quickly answers, “Probably never- so long as I can help and have my health, who needs to be retired”
