Christopher M. Hassan

Funeral Director

While attending a celebration of life event at the age of six, Camden, New Jersey native, Christopher M. Hassan received his Funeral Director calling. Christopher’s educational journey began within the Camden City Public School System, where his desire to become a Funeral Director grew and his love for numbers developed. Post high school graduation, Christopher began his college studies at Kaplan University. There, he attained a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting and later opened Hassan Tax Service. While he enjoyed the fastidious attention to detail accounting required, he wasn’t fully satisfied as he missed opportunities to engage with people in meaningful ways during difficult times.

In 2015, Christopher began to pursue his vocational calling by attending Mercer County Community College. There, he served as the Treasurer for Sigma Phi Sigma, the funeral service fraternity and attained an Associate Degree in Applied Science.

In 2017, Christopher received licensure as a funeral director in the states of New Jersey and Pennsylvania.

Christopher is an active member of the New Jersey State Funeral Directors Association, Quaker State Funeral Directors Association and the National Funeral Directors Association.
